This year she was tall enough to try the swings. I was pretty impressed that she loved it.

Today we spent the morning at Como Zoo. Ava enjoyed the rides and the butterfly garden, Naomi had a nap and woke up to watch Ava do some of the rides. It was a perfect day.

Uncle Dan got all the kids to pick and chew on Timothy weeds. Here is Ava picking just the right one

hail storm+hiking= screaming kids

The first day we hiked there was a hail storm, lightining and thunder that created quite a scream fest for the kids. We tried to hide from the hail under a tree...bad place to stand with lightining cracking overhead. Uncle Dan talked us through it all and we continued on.
